How To Make Killer Landing Pages
In Internet Marketing, we define a landing page as the first page somebody sees when they click on your ad or a link to your site. Usually the intention of these landing pages is to convert the visitor into a customer or to make them into a lead. this is known as a conversion.
Lets say you have a current PPC (Pay Per Click) campaign going onĀ and maybe your ROI (Return On Investment), isn’t up to scratch you would have to optimise your landing page to better convert a visitor. But first you must make it clear what you want to do; generate a lead or make the sale. Personally i would advise you to try and generate a lead, because it is proven within the online marketing community that people do not usually purchase on the first visit. You must first gain the person’s trust.
In order to this you can make them sign up to your mailing list by having an opt-in form on your landing page. But whichever type you choose your landing page must have:
- A definite call to action
- The most important information at the top
- A killer headline
- Nice Graphics (but don’t over-do it)
- Little or NO distraction
If you follow these steps you’ll be way ahead of your competitors.
